Piwik and supported browsers like Internet Explorer

Hello!
Just a short question: is Internet Explorer supported at all to be used with Piwik?
If so, which versions?
I have IE 8 and Piwik does not work in it. Piwik seems to work in IE 10.

Are there any other browsers that are recommended to be used with Piwik?

please upgrade to 2.1 RC. It supports IE8 for now! 301 Moved Permanently
