Parse Error on entering Settings

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed piwik - everything went fine so far.
After logging in as superuser the backend shows up, but after clicking settings the following error comes up:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /is/htdocs/wpxxxx_JEZTWTUZR/piwik/plugins/ExampleUI/ExampleUI.php on line 61

Requirements are met. Any idea?

Reupload that file. Line 61 doesn’t have a ‘}’.

thank you for the quick reply. I reuploaded the whole piwik-installation-directory, deleted the DB and config. Still the same error.

On the Widgets-Page is a link to the Users Management section - clicking on it brings up a similar error:

looks like my ftp-proggy is messing up the uploads! the file on the server has a “}”. weird.
I’ll get back to the forum if I can’t fix it.
