Only able to see 4 downloads in our site for 3 weeks - should be 1,000s

We have hundreds of PDFs, DOCXs, XLSXs, etc and in the Dashboard > Downloads I can only see 4 downloads for the 3 weeks. Why can’t I see all downloads from the site? Thanks
