I found that NOT all page views are tracked by PIWIK. I keep visiting the site on different pages, I can see other users’ visits are tracked in PIWIK, but other users’ are not. For my visits, it was tracked on one day May 7, but not the other days May 17. It’s strange that it tracks some visits, but not other. .
You might consider installing another analytics solution like Google Analytics, and then comparing the tracking. We do this as a “sanity” check to ensure the tag triggering isn’t the cause. If you identify the page views tracking in GA, but not Matomo, then I would check that your IP isn’t ignored, and that you aren’t getting blocked by privacy settings.
