I’ve been using Piwik for the past year but I needed to reinstall it. Since it’s been re-installed, it does not seem to be collecting any data. I’ve looked through the FAQ on this issue but that doesn’t help me. I’ve noticed that “piwik_log_visit” has at least a few records in it but nothing is showing up in the panel… I’ve tried creating a new database and using different users but it’s still not working.
I have a debian server with Apache, MySQL and PHP5. Any thoughts??

Did you check the tracking code on the sites you want to track? But this should be no problem if you are tracking only one site with ID=1.
do you use the latest piwik.js and not a local copy?
Yes, the id for the site is correct.
And yes it was the new copy of piwik.js.
I just tried enabling track_visits_inside_piwik_ui and it is now showing data of me using the panel but not data from hits of the website.
PM the URL of a website that you’re tracking. I’ll take a look at the tracking code.
