I’ve installed Piwik on fresh web site ( I use it on few other sites ) then I’ve added the tracking code in the footer as always but when I log in into admin dashboard I got this:
What can be the problem. For me everything seems OK.
Same problem here. Track code correctly inserted, but no data has been tracked.
My sites are developed in wordpress and I’m using wp-piwik to insert code in sites.
Not an answer I’m afraid but my earlier post (Invalid url?) was prompted by the same message…
So looks like that may be three of us with the same issue…
Currently 163 page views but no solutions… maybe there are a lot of interested users with the same problem.
Does Piwik provide an interrogation tool that will check program coding to establish if the javascript coding has been properly inserted?

These are some of the things I recommend trying out

[li] Use Chrome/Firefox Developer tools to see outgoing piwik calls. If you see this, there may be an issue with the installation
[/li][li] If you dont see requests going out, there is a problem with the script placement
[/li][li] Try the script on a simpler html with just a welcome message
[/li][/ol]
These should atleast narrow down the issue. If it still doesnt find the problem for you, post your htmls/jsps/phps and someone may take a look
Most of the user having this problem with piwik, I think you should ensure that you had setup the tracking code properly. Otherwise, it will track nothing.
