Please fix your update server:

curl_exec: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to builds.piwik.org:443 . Hostname requested was: builds.piwik.org

Or provide clear public info, in the update error message preferably, that explains how we need to confifure curl to a protocol and cipher your server will accept since it does not like the default from any OS judging by the forum responses.
