We’re currently using TokuDB storage engine on Percona Server 5.7 as database for a very high-traffic Matomo installation (along with all other possible optimizations). Percona is about to deprecate the TokuDB engine and recommends to move to MyRocks.
Moving from InnoDB to TokuDB decreased our CPU usage by perhaps 20%. And it has great compression which helps for the huge databases (several hundred GB).
Has anyone tried MyRocks with Matomo?
