Monitor traffic load in bytes

I’ve installed Piwik with the web server log import (as recommended in docs). Now I have a lot of cute widgets (with tons of data I don’t need yet), but can’t find the basic traffic info. How can I view bytes sent from my server for time period? And the site resources generating most traffic.

My hoster (as most of them) limits monthly traffic usage and I must know if my site spent more than I have. All my previous web analytic tools (AWStats, Webalizer etc) had such statistics but Piwik is much more complicated instrument… How could it miss traffic amount from logs?

We do not yet report load in bytes. It’s a feature request! please create a new feature request or add a comment on Log analytics list of improvements · Issue #3163 · matomo-org/matomo · GitHub

Thanks for clear reply, matt.

Maybe I’m just using the wrong tool for my needs: Piwik has tons of features but it must not fit in any keyhole…

it’s a feature request which means we’d like to implement it. If you need it, we can get it done, if you can pay. Otherwise we may add it (or someone from community) in the future. That’s about how it works
