Media Analytics Plugin Tracking Issue

Hello Community,

We purchased the Media Analytics plugin. We are running Matomo on premise.

When we (static) coded the HTML 5 tag in a web page, the video tracking seems to work. However, in another web site, the tag is dynamically generated by JavaScript, in that case, the videos are not being tracked.

Anybody ran into issue like this?

Hi there,

Possibly the tracker is loading before the media is present, therefor is not being detected. You can get the tracker to rescan for media, once the page is fully loaded Developer FAQ: Integrate - Matomo Analytics (formerly Piwik Analytics) - Developer Docs - v3
