Media Analytics and multiple videos on the same page

We have a problem with the Media Analytics premium plugin, and specifically how it tracks Video.
We use both Vimeo and Youtube videos, and it’s common that more than one video is displayed in a single page (from the same or both brands).

We have tried to follow the guidelines at the integration page, including the ?enablejsapi=1 qs-param for YouTube, and using Iframes.

However, as videos are tracked, things get mixed up.
Sometimes starts- and stops are not tracked at all, and sometimes playing one video will track as another actual video (sometimes the previous one played) on the same page.
It appears to be very confused about this, and we can see in the network traffic that it actually does send the wrong video identity when clicking on another video than what is actually sent to Matomo.

This is very confusing, and it was one of the key features from the Premium bundle, for us.

Surely there must be many people with more than one video on a page using this, we’ve not seen any restriction on that it will only work if you have one video on the page?

Are there any basic suggestions that may resolve the behaviour described?

Hello @Xor Sorry to hear that you’re having issue with media analytics plugin. It would be great if you can send some screenshots via email so we can investigate further. Kind regards.
