Mcrypt.so not found

Hi,

Long term user of Piwik here but recently moved server. Since moving started getting following error message:

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library ‘/usr/lib/php/modules/mcrypt.so’ - /usr/lib/php/modules/mcrypt.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
Could not open input file: /home/example/public_html/analytics/console

It appears Piwik is searching for mcrypt in a non-existant directory. Where can I update pipwik with the correct directory? Any help appreciated.

This is PHP who can’t load the extension, not Piwik, so you should have a look at fixing the PHP install (maybe contact your host?).
