Maximum number of pages displayed cannot be increased

Hello everyone,

since no one has been able to help in the German forum so far, I’m opening another thread here.

I use Matomo via the Wordpress plugin. When listing the pages visited (Behavior/Pages), only 500 results are displayed; the rest as “Other”.

I have now tried to expand the list using FAQ entry 54. However, the adjustments have no effect.

In “my” config directory there is also only a common.config.ini.php. If I enter the changes there, it has no effect. Likewise, if I create an extra config.ini.php and only enter the code from the FAQ there, it has no effect.

Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?

It’s important to note the setting will only effect future data.

I’d check whether the FAQ setting applies to the WordPress plugin version, since the config paths can be different from a regular Matomo installation. It may also be worth checking if the change is being made in the active Matomo config directory. Restarting/clearing the Matomo cache after the change could help too.
