Good afternoon, perhaps someone knows how to link MTM and events?
For example, a tag has been created - click on a button. How to transfer its knowledge to the event tab?

With this setting there is no data on the events tab

Hi there,

The tag configuration shown in your screenshot looks correct.

The tag must be linked to an appropriate trigger (e.g. “Click on a specific button”). From the screenshot, it’s not visible if a trigger is set.

An example trigger could be:

  • Click – All Elements with a condition (e.g. Click Text or Click ID)

  • Or Click – CSS Selector targeting the button.

After creating or modifying tags, make sure to click Publish in the Tag Manager, or the changes won’t take effect. You can use the Preview feature in MTM to test if the tag fires correctly when the button is clicked.

Once the event fires, you should be able to see it in real-time in the Visitors > Visits Log, and later in the Behaviour > Events report.
