Matomo Numbers MUCH lower than Google Analytics

I implemented matomo using Angulartics2 in Angular2 and is in parallel with Google Analytics, which is called in same place.

However, the numbers are considerably different - Only pageviews are close:

Google PV: 254k…Matomo PV: 223k
Google Unique PV: 138k…Matomo Unique PV:99k
Google Users: 48k
Google New Users: 33k
Matomo Unique Visitors: 21k

Any ideas on this?

Did you do a forum search for all the threads asking the same question, with always the same answers?

You know - I did, actually. Maybe I didn’t have the exact correct incantation, I’m new to the area. I’ll try again, and endeavor not to perturb you further.
