Matomo does not track on iphone

Matomo does not track on any iphone browser, tried different browsers, safari, firefox, any suggestions would be grateful

It does track on ipad however.

I have also tried installing the PHP Tracker Client which also does not track on iphone

Hi,

Do you have an iPhone to access to test if it can access your Matomo instance? Ideally in combination with a Mac so you can check the browser developer tools for errors and failing requests.

Interestingly there was someone else recently who could not get iPhones (but iPads) to work.

Maybe there is something special with your setups that causes specifically iPhones to be blocked

Thanks Lukas, you helped me to fix it. The problem was that it was also redirecting the matomo folder. I have now fixed this to exclude this directory in htaccess and it now tracks iphones
