Matomo Database connection issue - Bitnami AWS instance

Hi Support,
We have run into an issue with our Bitnami (Ubuntu 16.04.3) Matomo instance appearing to run out of disk space (10GB) and now the Database / Sites will not start up.
I have removed a 9GB web log file from 2018… but our Matomo sites are still showing the Database connection error.
I’m very new to managing our Bitnami / Ubuntu instance so any advise on how to fix this, is very much appreciated.
Going forward I will look at log file rotation.
