Hi there!

I use matomo for my website.
First I would like to thak you for such a lovely website analyser.

But problem came when I forgot my password. I use self hosted matomo but sadly disabled password recovery. As I formatted my browser, I was logged out of my account.

Now I am logged out of my account :disappointed_relieved: on browser.
I spent half an hour trying all my passwords.
But I am logged in at matomo mobile app :grin:.

So my question is can I somehow manage to see my password from matomo mobile?

Hi,

As you have self-hosted Matomo, you have access to the database and can simply set a new password there directly:
