i need information about the provider on the basis of the IP. There is a provider plugin. I had tell a question as an Issue. The answer is:
the provider information is already tracked by the core application and the Provider plugin simply adds a report that displays that information

But the info is a “believe”. In addition a link to the FAQ about the geolocation is written. In this page, a widget “Provider” is displayed. In my matomo “Visitors” → “Locations” is no widget “Provider”. Is this only available with a Geo database?
The thing is, i don’t need geolocation information. I only need provider information. My question is: is it true, was answered in the Issue above? Has anyone experience with the plugin?
