Hello there,

I tried updating my piwik to the latest version but during the update I got “Problem loading this page” and now I’m not able to access my piwik. When I try to open it, the URL changes to this -> mydomain/index.php?module=CoreUpdater&action= and again the “Problem loading this page” message. Is there a way to fix this without removing the database and the whole installation and installing it from the beginning?

Hi there, that’s strange, do you get an error in your Server error log file?

otherwise you can try to run the update via the command line: Update Piwik - Analytics Platform - Matomo

Hey, thanks for the reply.

I fixed it by removing the old piwik files and uploading a new instalation. During the instalation I made piwik use the old database and it worked fine.
