Installed without issues, but zero visits & no data

Hi!

* I went through FAQ/Help and could not find really anything usefull. Checked js code and all other things I know, but still nothing. Please, I need your help.

Intro:
I am using OWA & Google Analytics on a website, and decided to give Piwik a try, since with OWA I have an issue with page titles (none), and GA does not have some features such as detailed visitor reporting like OWA and Piwik.

Problem description:
I am using free hosting at byethost.com and Piwik installation went without major issues (check System Check scrshot below). Only issue was with database adapter settings, I had to switch to MYSQLI instead of default/suggested setting (there was a permition issue for table creation and modifications). Now everything is fine, using phpMyAdmin databese and tables are there, but empty so far.

I have made several visits on purpose but Piwik did not register any of it. Any ideas what is wrong?

Check if your browser has Do-Not-Track enabled -> Disable it.
Check if you set the “ignore cookie” under Settings -> Unset it.

I was “sure” this wasn’t the issue, but now when I re-checked this option was indeed turned-on. Reminder to myself: always double-check and don’t assume anything for “sure”

Check if you set the “ignore cookie” under Settings → Unset it.

I couldn’t find this option under Piwik > Settings ?

Thank you Fabian, it works!
