Is there a single thread on recommended changes to table indexing? I’ve been scanning all the threads I can find and added a few indexes but am still running into performance issues. Once I hit about 1000 visitors in a day the dashboard widgets have trouble loading, but if I look at previous days data, even if it’s much more traffic, I don’t have any problems.
Is there an option for changing the timeout? That seems to be what’s happening, the data’s there, it’s just not able to grab it every time.
My problem appears to have been caused by the default browser based archive settings. Setting up the auto archiving and turning that off seems to have solved my problem. Should have read the docs/faqs more closely.
