I was trying to see Piwik’s behavior when importing log files using a cron job and I noticed that when a log file happens to be parsed several times, the results in the visitors’ settings panel change. I tried with a small log file with 150 lines and the results become incoherent righ after the second import.
I don’t think this is normal behavior. When parsing the log files, if a log line matches old data, it shouldn’t be taken into account and not be counted. Am I wrong ?
The previous tests were run on version 1.11. I tried the same thing with version 1.12-b22 and it seems the issue was fixed.
I guess that the “problem” isn’t a problem then
