I have a mixed environment that means Windows and Linux. At the moment I use Urchin 5 and I’m pretty happy with that, but it doesn’t goes younger. I made some tests with piwik and it looks really cool. What I really miss is the apache log handeling like Urchin does. Urchin knows where he stops reading the last time and continue his import the next time at the same position. So I don’t get double statistic data like I get in piwik.
For Linux did I find a workaround. I could just import after log rotating the last file: acces.log.1. However, Windows has another rotating system. I use rotatelog.exe for file naming like year/month/day.
