I lost access to Matomo

In the Matomo interface, there was a message to add force_ssl = 1 to the config.ini.php file.

Matomo worked very well. But after adding this line, the following error appears :

If I delete this line, the error does not disappear. I do not understand why.

Can you explain how and where in the file exactly you are adding the line?

I placed the code below the [General] line

But if I delete the code I added, matomo does not work

How did you edit the file? Sounds for me like there could be an encoding problem…

Could you provide the content of your config here? Please make sure to remove information like trusted hosts and salt.

That looks wrong, it should look like this:

password = "password"

Can you change that and test if it resolves the issue?

I have no idea, but you can now try to reenter force_ssl = 1.
