.htaccess problem after Automatically Update to 0.5.5

After an automatically update from 0.5.4 to 0.5.5 the piwik “interface” is out of work (see the attached screenshot)

i removed all .htaccess files
piwik/config/.htaccess
piwik/core/.htaccess
piwik/js/.htaccess
piwik/lang/.htaccess
piwik/libs/.htaccess
piwik/misc/.htaccess_to_use_later
piwik/plugins/.htaccess
piwik/themes/.htaccess
piwik/tmp/templates_c/.htaccess
and everything is fine again,
but maybe only one or some of them are evil …

The .htaccess files are part of a multi-layered security approach, so it would be better to figure out the source of the problem than to remove them entirely.

Ya, you don’t want to remove it at this point. I guess as a last resort, but it would be much better to figure out the issue first and hopefully get it fixed.
