My situation is complicated, so I’ll just give you the bullet points and what I need.
1- I put a box on more than one website
2-When I put a container on a site, Matomo automatically tracks all visitor data through analytics, not just the tags I put in the container. It also keeps track of all analytics data by itself.
3-I only want the tags I put in the container to be used. I don’t want analytics to run automatically for every visitor.
So, I need to know how to stop analytics from running on its own. (Once again, I don’t mean the tags. Every time a site visitor comes, analytics data is pulled. I don’t see how to stop this.
