How does Matomo count URLs with / and URLS without /

Hello,

There is some confusion regarding the topic:
Does Matomo count URLs with and without a / at end separately or are all of them clubbed under the URL with / so the URL without the / needs to be ignored?

Edit: I verified all data for both URLS and it looks like Matomo clubs it under the URL with /. Is there any way to have it separated?

Could you solve this porblem? I have this issue when I write the url because when i save the settings the url appears without the last / and I cant acccess weel in my page from the server where I have the Matomo installed

I think the confusion comes from how Matomo handles the trailing slash as part of the URL. It would be useful to know if there’s a setting to treat /page and /page/ as separate URLs, especially when both are being tracked. A clear example of how Matomo groups them would help too.
