We are going to run Piwik in high-load environment.
Could you tell me if piwik can handle up to 200 hits per second and 500k hits per second in peak load?
What optimal configuration do you recommend?
How many servers are comfortable enought to run piwik without any problems?

500k per second? did you mean per day?
generally we recommend to setup piwik on one large server with plenty of RAM for mysql and php and it can scale more than 10M pages pre month.

actually I meant 500 hits/visits per second in peak load, 200 hits/visits in normal condition (sorry for misunderstanding).
