Hi trying to use piwik so i installed in localhost machine successfully, but i don’t know where to add my checking page ( how many users will visit that) inside the root folder or inside piwik. help me plz.
If Piwik is going to be on your primary domain (witterstauter.com or www.witterstauter.com), then I’d recommend using a piwik folder. Otherwise, put it on a subdomain, e.g., stats.witterstauter.com.
Remember, when you put the tracking code on your sites to be tracked, they need to be able to communicate with your Piwik server, i.e., make sure your localhost is externally visible on the Internet.
