We need to be able to do a console-only install. System behind firewalls, can’t call out to install Matomo.
Is a script available? I’ve looked and found some older attempts.
I looked–I’m not sure it will work. I need to install from scratch behind a firewall–there’s no way for Matomo to call home to get its install instructions. And I can’t open the firewall for the install (our sysadmins would crucify me).
It’s really odd and rather problematic that Matomo requires the phone-home step. Most programs on Linux don’t require this step. Makes running Matomo on an enterprise system really tricky.
