Graphs are black screens

Hi All,

I just upgraded to 2.0 and my graphs are black screens. Please see the attached image. How do I fix that?

David

Which browser are you using? can you delete browser cache?

does it do same in other browsers?

I deleted cache in my firefox and I checked in Chrome as well and still back ground is black.

same here…

Same here. Deleted cache, still black on Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

Hi,

I just tried to reproduce it without success (XP / latest Firefox and XP / IE8). Can you reproduce this on http://demo.piwik.org ? Which exact browser/operating system are you using?

I’m on WIN XP, using firefox /Chrome. On my WIN 7 machine, Chrome and firefox still do the same thing. black screen.

Can you open http://demo.piwik.org and check whether graphs have black background there as well?

Same problem here:
graphs on my piwik-installation have a black background.

http://demo.piwik.org does not show that error. So it must be something with my server…

I am using Debian 7 with Apache / PHP 5.4.4-14 / MySQL

Can someone experiencing this issue maybe send us a URL and login credentials for his Piwik installation? View permissions should be enough. If so, please send to hello@piwik.org
That would be great!

if I log in with the new visitor-account created for Piwik-suuport it´s all great, no problem at all! So you won´t see nothing with the login-data provided per PM. Same with the problem described here

Can confirm this behaviour. Removing and reinserting a widget works (for me).

yesss! solved for me to, thx!

This problem is caused by an incorrect report URL being stored for the widget. Removing/reinserting a widget will fix it (as you’ve discovered). You can also change the view (ie, if it’s a bar graph, click on the pie graph icon).

No idea what caused incorrect URLs to be stored, though. My best guess would be that its due to updating Piwik from some specific version.

Yep that did the trick! Thank you!

Same issue here. Adding and removing the widgets fixed it.

Interesting fact was that I upgraded two installations on the same server, one had no issues and had white graphs. The other sort of hung when upgrading and then showed some warnings that disappeared, but apart from the black seems to upgrade OK.
