GPL Licence confusion on distribute

Hi I’ve read lots of license related topic, but still feel confusing on the license.

We have a commercial website system for sell, and it will deployed on our customer’s site.

  1. If we deploy the piwik(without code change) on customer’s site, does our commercial website must follow the GPL v3?
  2. If we ask customer to download and deploy piwik on customer’s site, and integrated with our system, does our commercial website system must follow the GPL v3?

  1. No: the piwik.js is not released under GPL but BSD license
