I ran the Google2Piwik utility (ver 2.1.5).
It appears to run correctly and the visits are visible under “Visitor log” but they are not included when reports are generated.
I have emailed the company behind Google2Piwik but am also posting here in case anyone has had a successful export from Google Analytics.
You will have to “reset” all statistics. See: How do I force the reports to be re-processed from the logs?
Does it work after reprocessing the reports?
Yes, it does work after deleting piwik_archive_* tables.
