Google UTM Traffic Showing as Site Search

We just completed a short paid Display Ad Campaign and have noticed that “Campaign” traffic in Matomo looks correct, however “Page Views” are not being shown for all of this traffic. Further investigation shows that Matomo is interpreting the campaign URL parameter (ie. url/?utm_campaign=xyz) as a Site Search.

Apparently any URL with a “?” in it seems to trigger this as a Site Search in analytics and therefore does not display any other relevant Page View statistics.

Our website Site Search uses the following request “/?s=keyword” for internal searches.

Looking for insight into what configuration changes may be needed in Matomo here in order to differentiate internal search queries from UTM traffic? Currently, our Internal Site Search configuration is set up with the following:
