Once a month, I notice that GeoIPCity doesn’t work and that the visitor’s country is only shown.
Visiting /misc/ on the server I’ve seen for the past two months the file GeoIPCity.dat is called GeoIPCity.dat.broken. I’m not sure what’s causing this to happen. We have GeoIP PECL installed.
I don’t have a URL listed in the Piwik backend for the auto update under Geolocation “Location Database”
What’s causing the breaking of the file and GeoIPCity.dat.broken ?
I’d really appreciate your help.
