GeoIP PECL only display country but not city

I recently installed php PECL plugin and everything works fine, I don’t see any errors however my analytics only displays country even though I uploaded the city database… What could be the problem?

Have you downloaded geoIP data file?

yes I downloaded the free version

Please try using the new GeoIp2 provider, if possible.
