I am having a hard time getting geoip to work. Initially, when I navigated to the Location and Providers page, GeoIP displayed “GEOIP_COUNTRY_NAME” and GEOIP_CITY NAME" where the city and continent should be. Now those do not appear and instead it says “No data for this table.”
The GeoIP install is very straight-forward and I know that I have done it correctly. I did not install the apache mod simply because I have no idea how to configure apache. Is the apache mod needed for the plugin to function? The tutorial “recommends” it. Also, if I need to install the mod, can I choose from other module versions like Ruby or php? Any help would be great.
