GeoIP Auto-updater

Hi guys,

I try and use the GeoIP auto-updater/installer but it just hangs at “Downloading GeoLiteCity.dat…” but then it just hangs and doesn’t download it.

When I manually put the database in there it works fine however it cannot seem to download it? I’m using the PECL method of using GeoIP.

Any idea what could be going wrong? I’m using Piwik 1.10.1

do you see any error logged in the server error log ?

Nah no error log. It just says that its downloading it and that’s all.

Where does it download it to? The tmp directory and then move it or straight to the misc directory? Because I see no file created at all when it tries.
