Gallery 3 & PIWIK_PLUGIN

Hello,
Installed the piwik_plugin for the latest version of Gallery 3 recently. But it appears to log any activityfor any of the albums or photos as the websites home landing page. Is this to be expected? As I expecting to see which photo alblums had been recently visited.
Suggestions?
