GA4 support in Matomo Tag Manager

Checking to see if there is any support up coming for adding GA4 tags into Matomo Tag Manager.

Analytics import issue

I’m trying to initiate a data import from Google Analytics. Authorization and everything is fine, but I am required to insert a View ID to start an import. I am using Google Analytics 4, which does not have View IDs anymore. How do I import from GA4 without inserting the View ID?

no im referring to adding GA4 tags into tag manager.

the only option at the moment is GA Universal.

I think you can create an issue at the GitHub repo (as I didn’t found anything about GA4 in there):

Build software better, together

As workaround, if you know the GA4 API, I think you can use either custom HTML (sending HTTP requests to Google Analytics server) or custom image (whose src will also be GA with the provided API)
