Frequence security violations when trying to login or update

Most times when I try to login to Matomo on-premises using Brave, I get a security notice. Reloading the page usually solves the problem. This seems an odd situation to occur on a routine basis. What would cause this issue? Is it a cookie thing?

Today I attempted the update to 4.16.0 I think. It kept giving me a security error. I cleared cache, restarted browser, retried many times. Finally I tried it one more time for the purpose of getting the link to the support page. But that time the update worked.

What is the cause of this security issue?
