Just signed up for the forum using an email and password (no external account) and I got an email to verify my address, clicked the button which took me to a page with another button saying “Activate account” or something along those lines.
The button then took me to a page with the error:
Sorry, there was an error authorizing your account. Perhaps you did not approve authorization?
But it seems to have verified my account just fine.
I’ve seen this kind of issue where the verification works, but the final page shows an error anyway. If the account is actually activated, it sounds like the error is with the confirmation page rather than the email verification itself. Hopefully this can be fixed so it doesn’t confuse new users.
