You are reading the Piwik 2.x docs which haven’t been updated since.

Hi, Lukas!

My fundamental problem is getting any widget to render on a webpage without: one, exposing the authorization token; and two, not enabling access to the entire reporting UI. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
