The Fake Visits plugin really misled me…(thankfully not on a live site).
I was thinking it would boost the data for the existing pages on my site, not some bogus pages that the plugin generates.
In my case, I want to load test data into my existing pages so that I can start ranking pages by popularity. If this plugin simply generates bogus page titles and urls, there’s no way I can connect the fake data with my existing pages…Utterly useless.
And there’s no way to delete the data once it’s there!
There needs to be a better connection build between the actual pages on your site and the Piwik database. Perhaps mod_rewrites get in the way but it needs to happen at the core level … where a post id and a piwik page id match.
