Export all statistics by month

I am trying to export a CSV file of the total visits by month over a year.
How can I do it ?

&period=month&date=last12 will give you last 12 months for example ?

Thank you, but i have an error.

There is two dates and periods in url.
I think i must change the 2 ?

If I use range, I have this :
http://www.myurl.com/index.php?module=CoreHome&action=index&date=2012-01-01,2012-12-31&period=range&idSite=1#module=VisitsSummary&action=index&date=2012-01-01,2012-12-31&period=range&idSite=1

But when I click on export button, i’ll get only one line in csv file.
I try to have one line per month with the total number of visits per month.
Is-it possible ?

I mean to change in the CSV export URL itself rather than the piwik URL
