Exclude CMS backend visitors from all statistics

Hi,

It would be great to have the ability to exclude all trafic from visitors who visited the backend of a CMS like Joomla.

I would suggest to mark those visitors when visiting the backend somehow within a cookie so Piwik is aware of those visitors when they visit the frontend and exlude their traffic.

Is it possible to add this feature?

Can’t be done by the server. It’s application-agnostic.

Instead, in your web page, check for the presence of the Joomla session cookie. If present, then don’t call the Piwik tracking code.
