Events not showing immediately in dashboard after emitted

Hi,

I am working on tracking some events on my website using matomo. I created a tag manager, configured it with my logic etc… My question is why I don’t see the events in the Behavior > Events section right after they are fired and I can see them only after a couple of minutes/hours.

Did anyone have the same problem, if so what is the explanation?

Yes, this is because reports needs to be rebuilt.And this takes much resources.

You can see events almost immediately through the Visitors > Real-time report or Visitors > Visits log for the current day (if enabled).
