This did work on sles 12 sp3 but on service pack upgrade to sp4 I get these errors -
[Warning] InnoDB: Cannot add field custom_var_k4 in table piwikdb.piwik_log_visit because after adding it, the row size is 8680 which is greater than maximum allowed size (8126) for a record on index leaf page.
[Warning] InnoDB: Cannot add field custom_dimension_3 in table piwikdb.piwik_log_link_visit_action because after adding it, the row size is 8452 which is greater than maximum allowed size (8126) for a record on index leaf page.
Asking suse too but in case its a known issue/seen before.
