Error message when connecting to matomo

Hi there,

we wanted to try out the new Looker Studio Connector - but when entering the credentials we get the message “Sorry, we submitted your credentials, but the credentials are invalid.”. I have already tried out the solution stated in this article but it didn’t work.

Any further ideas?

Have you checked the server logs where the Matomo instance is hosted to see if Looker Studio is even trying to connect?

Hi Lisa, just wanted to check that you are entering your Matomo URL as the username instead of your actual Matomo username when trying to connect?
